This level was an early experiment in creating open spaces and pathways. At the same time I was interested in Tibetan architecture, so I used that for reference.
This village is set in a string of high mountain plateaus, with suspended bridges being the only way to pass some gaps. This mountain path is called the "Pilgrim's Pass." Which connects the foothills of Janopo to the capital mountaintop city of Dunwark. Tubo serves mainly as an important stop along the trail, where pilgrims can rest and contemplate at the nearby crypts of ancient heroes.
Across the bridge you can either go through the gatehouse or take a path down left.
Bridges connect the separate parts of the village.
Through the gatehouse you can take the bridges across or take the large path down on the right side.
Here's the central footpath of the village.
